It is a pleasure to inform you that the new version of the Solr search server has been released. It is the next release from the 8.x branch and it is numbered 8.11.1. It fixes the vulnerability found in the Log4j.
Some of the changes introduced in Solr 8.11.1:
- Log4j library update to remove the vulnerability described in CVE-2021-44228
- Velocity library upgrade to remove the vulnerability described in CVE-2020-13936
- Update of the jagertracing and libthrift libraries to remove the vulnerability described in CVE-2020-13949
- Additional bug fixes.
