It is the next release from the 8.x branch and it is numbered&nbsp;<strong>8.10.0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the changes included in the Lucene 8.10.0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tokenizer and analyzer for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Telugu_language\" target=\"_blank\">Telugu<\/a> language was added.<\/li><li><em>QueryProfilerIndexSearcher<\/em> and <em>ProfilerCollector<\/em> classes were added for debugging query timing and strategy execution.<\/li><li>The <em>setMaxMergeAtOnceExplicit<\/em> method of the <em>TieredMergePolicy<\/em> class is now marked as <em>deprecated<\/em> and will be removed in the later library versions.<\/li><li>The <em>BEST_SPEED<\/em> stored fields compression now uses a slightly better compression.<\/li><li><em>IndexWriter<\/em> ram buffer usage was improved especially for indexing fields with multiple fields or when using multiple threads.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Full list of changes can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/lucene.apache.org\/core\/8_10_0\/changes\/Changes.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/lucene.apache.org\/core\/8_10_0\/changes\/Changes.html<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apache Lucene library<strong> 8.10.0<\/strong> can be downloaded from <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apache.org\/dyn\/closer.cgi\/lucene\/java\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.apache.org\/dyn\/closer.cgi\/lucene\/java<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is a pleasure to inform you that the new version of the Lucene library has been released.
